Rona Buenaseda-Chua mounts first show at the Crucible Gallery
RONA BUENASEDA-CHUA mounts her first solo show at The Crucible Gallery, on view from Nov. 25 to Dec. 7. Buenaseda-Chua is a member of the Tuesday Group. She recounts that she has been painting “ever since she could remember.” She paints everyday objects, with flowers and comestibles as her favorite subjects. She uses watercolor and colored pencils. She holds various art workshops and has participated in group shows, including those of the Tuesday Group. She teaches at Rona’s Art Studio, located along Pasay Rd. Makati City and along Ortigas Ave., Greenhills. Part of the proceeds of her show will benefit the Studium Theologiae Foundation, which facilitates the further education of diocesan seminarian.
